Noting the important updates and learning opportunities presented to members at company meetings, please be reminded that general managers of Best Western properties are required to attend the Annual Convention this year due to cancellation of the District Meetings this past Spring. In normal years, attendance at either District Meeting or Convention is required. This year’s virtual convention makes it even easier to meet this requirement.
Our meetings present a unique and valuable opportunity for members to hear about brand initiatives, discuss best practices with colleagues, and participate in new and relevant training. Recognizing these important objectives, either a designated operating manager or active management employee from each Best Western property is required to attend the Annual Convention due to cancellation of the District Meetings this past Spring. In normal years, attendance at either District Meeting or Convention is required. This year’s virtual convention makes it even easier to meet this requirement.
General managers can earn one (1) Continuing Education point for viewing all the recorded 2020 Virtual Convention sessions from the Best Western Chairman and the Best Western Executive Committee before December 31, 2020. For more information regarding how to earn General Manager Continuing Education points, please refer to the Education & Training Department tab on hotel.bwhhotelgroup.com or login to www.bwiuniversity.com and visit the BWI Leadership learning track.
